    Taylor Tile was made in Santa Monica, California during the Golden Era of California Tile and pottery making in the 1930s. Known for high quality scenic tables, wall murals, and other accessories such as tile base lamps, Taylor is one of the favorites of Spanish Revival decorators and vintage tile lovers. Prominently seen on historic and important buildings in Southern California, along with Malibu tile it was one of the most used by architects during this era. A great go-along with vintage Bauer Pottery and at home in styles from Mid Century Modern to Victorian. Earlier versions of this company made tile known as "Santa Monica Tile" or Brick company. The vivid colors and Moorish styles complement any vintage decor.
