Originally designed for a fantasy fountain for children featuring Butterflies, Snails and Insects in San Antonio, Texas. This highly unusual San Jose Bisque Ladybug was designed and created to be part of the fountain, and came from a pottery employee’s collection. This piece is not fired or glazed, and shows the company’s standard clay. Can be seen pictured on page 187 top, “Colors On Clay”, fountain detail. A real historic treasure with bragging rights.

Measures 7" long x 4" wide x 2" tall.
