San Jose Pottery from San Antonio is a WPA era wall plaque over 12" in diameter. After a quick visit to the Cantina while his horse awaits, a Señor in a colorful serape takes a swig. Fully glazed front and back it is signed with a Maguey craftmark on the back. In excellent condition, with no cracks, chips or repairs. The rich brown surround glaze is enhanced by the bright California style colors. Made and glazed by hand it shows slight imperfections as is common with a hand crafted piece.
