Vintage Bauer Oil Jar in shiny cobalt blue glaze. This shape is round and wide and is known as a #100 form.  It stands a tall 22" and is approx. 15" across at the widest point. Buff clay shows on dry bottom. Unmarked as is typical for these handmade pieces. It has an older and very strong repair on the base, perhaps it was a base hairline but it show a colored line which is visible (although not not noticeable when sitting). Get a lot of pottery and a big rare piece for a fraction of the cost. Smaller oil jar shown for scale only is available separately.
